U.S. shoppers cut prices on $2.4 million in U.K. stationery

Americans will save a whopping $2,456 on the sale of inexpensive stationery from Amazon.com, according to a report released Wednesday.

The retailer said in a statement that it would no longer sell inexpensive stationeries from its UK website, but it had not yet announced the price reductions.

Amazon has been the subject of much criticism for selling cheap stationery that many consider to be harmful and not worthy of its high prices.

In the U.Y.C., where Amazon sells many products from its U.KS. store, the company has been accused of misleading consumers about the safety of its products and making misleading claims.
