The black owned label, Papier Stationery, has received more than $300 million in sales from its brands since it opened in 2013.
According to Nielsen, the top-selling brand on the company’s platform, Black Eyed Peas, is worth more than the top five brands combined.
Black Eyed, who has been the most popular rapper since the hip hop era began, is the most downloaded hip hop album in the United States and the fourth most downloaded artist.
They have also been the number one selling artist for the past four years, according to Nielsen.
The black owned brands are not the only ones to make money on the popularity of the black artists.
The top five top-grossing artists in the U.S., according to data from Statista, are Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne.
According to Statista’s top five artists, Beyonce has grossed over $5 billion since 2012, while Jay-z has grossged over $3.6 billion, and Lil Wayne has grossded over $1.9 billion.
